Your first visit, step by step

1. Request a visit

Online or by phone. Tell us if anything's bothering you so we can plan enough time.

2. Forms & insurance

Complete your forms at home or arrive 10 minutes early. Bring your insurance card and a list of medications.

3. Your first visit

A conversation about your goals, a thorough exam, digital X-rays if needed, an oral-cancer screening and. When appropriate, a cleaning.

4. A clear plan

Dr. Raju explains what she found in plain language and gives you honest options and written costs. No pressure.

Insurance & financial options

Care that fits your budget

Tender Dental Care is designed to meet the needs of all of our patients in a way that fits your budget. We accept a number of PPO insurance plans, including Healthy Michigan Plan. To ask about your specific dental plan, contact our financial coordinator at (810) 715-3368. We're happy to file insurance claims to help you maximize your benefits and to answer any insurance questions.

We also accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. For those without insurance, or with larger treatment plans. We offer flexible payment plans through CareCredit or Dort Financial Credit Union.

Yes. We welcome new patients from Burton, Flint, Grand Blanc, Davison and across Genesee County. Request an appointment online or call (810) 715-3368.

We accept most PPO dental plans and Healthy Michigan Plan, and we file claims for you. Call our financial coordinator to check your specific plan, or bring your card to your first visit.

Whenever possible, yes. Call us as early in the day as you can and we'll fit you in. If you're in severe pain or have swelling, call right away.

Absolutely. Dr. Raju is known for her gentle approach, and we offer nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation (she's trained through DOCS) for anxious patients.

Yes, we're a family practice and see patients of all ages.

Yes. Dr. Raju provides wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, lip enhancement and PDO thread lifts, with the injection skill and facial-anatomy knowledge of a dentist. Ask at your visit or request a consultation.
